ATR Referee Position Description
Overview
Our referees are responsible for officiating games, although in younger age divisions they are essentially facilitators. We desire for individuals serving in this role to maintain standards of fair play and teach players how to avoid consistent rules violations. A basic knowledge of the rules of basketball is needed, and more experience with the game is helpful when refereeing older age groups. If you are interested in refereeing, please send an email to hrblackmore@lawndalebaptist.org.
